[RAM] V-Color DDR3 8G (4G + 4G) PC3-12800 CL9

I bought the V-Color DDR3 8G (4G + 4G) PC3-12800 CL9 from Taiwan.

I am currently using 8 gigabytes of RAM(silicon power DDR3 1600 RAM with 8 gigabyte (4 * 2)), and now I added 8 gigabytes to make 16 GBs.

In fact, there are no big inconveniences in 8G, but I think that there is a benefit of high capacity RAM for using graphic tools such as Photoshop, and I think that there will be a need for high capacity RAM such as games in the future.


The main features of this ram are xmp support, heat sink attaching .. (during production only) life warranty ..

The design is gorgeous ..



Simply checked the performance ...

I have benchmarked with AIDA64 (Everest).




1. Single channel 4GB ( V-Color DDR3-1600)

2. Dual channel 8GB ( V-Color DDR3-1600 4G*2)

Certainly there's a speed boost on dual channels.

3. Dual channel 16GB  (Silicon 4g*2 plus V-Color 4g*2)

There is some performance improvement in writing.

The memory score has risen slightly from 7.7 to 7.8.

Conclusion ... Performance is good and compatible with existing RAM is not any more .. Recommended personally.
